The mission is two-fold: One- to take the world of art and put a revolutionary spin on it as if to reinvent the medium and meaning altogether, allowing people to see life again, some for the first time. Second- to provide the world and everyone the opportunity to enjoy and experience art, and in turn, peer deeper into the facets of life as to give context and depth to what would otherwise seem abstract and obscure.
What is the A.A.A.B.M?
The Artistic Abstract Adjective Beat Movement (the A.A.A.B.M) is a movement in the art world where artists unite to tell a much bigger story of life through their unique expressions. Through the various mediums, the portrayal of people, culture, customs, and day-to-day life reveals a much larger picture of the life that is “painted” and put on display. Through the collection of all art and the experience gained along the way, create a picture all, it’s self, one that anyone might look at and take something for themselves in the form of insight and enlightenment.
Why the Long name
Artistic is the definition of expression of ideas represented by artists’ choices in subject and medium.
Art oftentimes is abstract simply by the nature of expressing complex ideas in artistic means. Often art exhibits difficulties in conveying complicated ideas in ways that accurately depict and express the emotion and reaction the artist intended.
When describing and critically looking at art, the perspective is extremely adjective on a case by case experience. No two individuals view the same piece the same, nor do two individuals take the same thing from experience. The art of expressing thought and conveying ideas requires a lot of adjectives and ambiguous language.
The day-to-day walk of life, the background backdrop, all those who help make up the audience, the extras, the grind, the days off, the vacation, the banal task required to keep the slow churning of life from stalling, the cup of coffee in the morning, the trip to the laundry mat, the food market, all combine to depict an idea known as Beat. Like a measure in music, our lives flow to a beat that creates a study in both the field of anthropology and that of sociology. The artist's task is to capture various themes, ideas, and emotions and reveal them with the hope of revealing something more about ourselves.
Enough energy gathered around an idea creates waves that turn into movements. If the first goal is to collect artistic impressions of the various beats from around the world to reveal a piece of art that reflects us as individuals and allows us to take something for ourselves, then the second goal is to bring art to everyone. The joy of art should not be confined to only museums and art gallery exhibits. Still, it should be easily accessible to the world and affordable so that everyone can enjoy a piece for themselves.
The Artist direction:
Many people get caught up in day-to-day living, resulting in the sad truth that many live a lifetime without ever venturing out of their own backyard. The A.A.A.B.M. attempts to bring the world a bit closer together, reframing ideas in new ways. Artists attempt to bridge the ideas and express the seemingly expressible.
